Tasha has extensive experience with pediatrics, amputees, stroke rehabilitation, spinal cord injuries and a variety of other orthopedic and medical conditions. She brings a high degree of professionalism to her practice of physiotherapy and her enthusiasm is contagious, but her approach to rehabilitation is science-based.

Tasha’s love of working with people to gain more skills and improve their overall health has made physiotherapy an extremely rewarding career for her. She utilizes functional exercise prescription and education to help each individual achieve their goals and get back to the things they love!

Outside of work Tasha enjoys travelling, hiking, camping, snowboarding and spending time with friends and family.

Additionally, Joe is a trained Active Older Adults leader. Though young in years, Joe has a lengthy injury and surgery history making him emphatic to those with significant mobility challenges/limitations. Because of this, he has spent years learning to adapt exercises, maintain strength and learn pain free range of motions.

" Exercise can be scaled back to its simplest form, requiring minimal equipment and utilizing the space clients have available to them. Every person, especially seniors who may have never exercised before, can find ways to improve or maintain their strength and endurance. I really enjoy being able to offer guidance and assistance to those wanting to do so.”

Outside of training, Josiah has an interest in business. Holding his BBA he handles everything business related for HTS. At home Joe loves to golf and spend time with his growing family.

Post-grad, she spent 26 years at the Children’s Hospital, where she treated patients recovering from head injuries, orthopedic trauma and surgery, as well as working with individuals suffering from a variety of neurological and musculoskeletal conditions. Jeanette’s been with HTS Home Therapy for 8 years, working with clients of all ages and at all ability levels. In addition to her work with Home Therapy, she leads an exercise class for the Stroke Recovery Association of Manitoba. Jeanette believes the wide range of her experience—her clients range from 1 to 95—has not only given her valuable perspective but made her work even more exciting.

Outside of work, Jeanette enjoys playing baseball and badminton with her kids, riding her horses, and just staying active.

36 years of her career has been at Children’s Hospital working with children who have a wide range of needs, but also specializing in respiratory conditions. She also is returning to HTS Home Therapy services, having worked part time with us from 2004-2012. During that time she worked with all ages of clients with a variety of diagnoses. She believes in a collaborative approach to physiotherapy, helping clients and families set and work toward their own therapy goals.

When Linda is not working, she loves to be active outside. If it is winter you can find her on her cross-country skis, snow shoes or downhill skis. In the summer she will be on the trails on her mountain bike or out exploring the province or country, camping along the way.

He has a particular interest in neurological and musculoskeletal rehabilitation, exercise therapy, and helping clients improve their mobility, independence, and overall quality of life. In addition to being a registered Physiotherapist, Berkan holds a M.Sc. Physiology & Pathophysiology. Being a life long learner he regularly attends conferences and workshops. Some of the most recent include: The McKenzie Method® of Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy (MDT), Part A (Lumbar Spine), Level 2 Upper Quadrant, Manual Therapy Strategies for Adult Neurological Population, North American Congress on Biomechanics, Ottawa, Neurology Rehabilitation Congress, İzmir.

What Berkan enjoy most about mobile physiotherapy is getting to know each person and understanding what matters to them, especially in their specific and individual home environments.

Outside of work, Berkan enjoys staying active, going to the gym, travelling, exploring new places, and spending time outdoors.

His experience in private practice has allowed him to treat many ailments ranging from musculoskeletal to neurological conditions. He has completed his Orthopedic Level 1 course, as well as a course on treatment options for temporomandibular joints (TMJ) and is excited to continue to broaden his education in other aspects of physiotherapy. Matt enjoys work in home environments to treat clients holistically while addressing functional goals.

Matt enjoys an active lifestyle including soccer (playing, coaching, and refereeing) and golf. He enjoys spending time with his wife and family as well as playing with his dog, Molly. A fun fact about Matt is that he recently returned from a trip of a lifetime where he and his wife climbed Mount Kilimanjaro in the region of Tanzania!

Martin is creative and thoughtful, always prioritizing patient centered care to help manage pain, recover from injury, and promote independence at home.

Outside of work, Martin enjoys basketball, soccer, hiking, traveling, and cooking. These hobbies and interests promote a curiosity and problem solving mindset that blend into his physiotherapy practice.

For more than 30 years, Brenda served as the Registrar and Executive Director of the College of Physiotherapists of Manitoba, where she played an important role in supporting the profession and the regulation of physiotherapy in Manitoba. She brings an extraordinary combination of clinical experience, professional knowledge, and perspective to HTS, and looks forward to helping clients maintain their mobility, independence, and quality of life in the comfort of their own homes.

Brenda enjoys spending time with her family, sewing, playing the piano and spending time at the cottage. She also volunteers at Dalnavert Museum and with the Khartum Shriners Ladies Auxiliary.

Danielle’s career has spanned from various positions including private practice with a focus on outpatient orthopedics, home based physiotherapy in the community, and acquired brain injury rehabilitation at the Selkirk Mental Health Centre.

Danielle has a passion for continued learning and professional development. This includes specific physiotherapy training as well as courses that pertain to the overall well being of her clients. In the last year alone Danielle has completed a variety of courses including, Know Pain: A Practical Guide for Persistent Pain Therapy, Non Violent Crisis-Intervention (SMHC), and Neurorehabilitation: Assisting Recovery and Function in Everyday Life Following a Brain injury: Level One.

“I enjoy educating clients and helping them appreciate why certain movements are effective. Oftentimes some teaching really helps people understand and fully participate!”

When Danielle is not working, she spends time drawing, painting, and renovating her home. She also enjoys pilates, yoga and spending time with friends, family and her puppy.
